On January 10, 2020, Armored Works, LLC, parent company of Metalcloak, acquired a storied name in the Overlanding community, Kargo Master Safari (KMS).

 

Our first goals were to better understand the inventory and product line, improve the customer experience with a bettter direct-to-consumer website, and complete the re-design of the JL Wrangler Pro Rack.

 

We have now accomplished those goals.

 

So on to stage 2... re-branding.

 

KargoMaster is such an iconic brand, but one that lives on beyond the Safari Jeep line-up as part of the Auto Truck Group. So it was decided to develop a new brand that would encapsulate what we see as the future of the Safari Line-Up.

 

And Adventure Rack Systems was born. 

The keen observer would have noticed that Adventure Rack Systems was our tagline for the KMS logo and website for months now... slowly easing into that new brand.

 

While the brand changes, the commitment remains the same... develope the strongest, most reliable, best fitting racks for off road adventure. Period.
